On Thursday the 19th July Ulster Wildlife visited a Barn owl nest site that I look after and we got to ring five wild Irish Barn Owl chicks. I'm over the moon with the result as I have been supplementary feeding the adult birds in times of bad weather when the adults couldn't go out hunting. As you can see it had an amazing impact on the nest.
