| Comments : | River Tolka, Blanchardstown. I got real close to a pair of Mandarin Ducks that landed on a bridge less than 2 metres from me. I was on the east side of tolka river park near Blanchardstown hospital - a fairly remote area as there are no real paths here and it's very overgrown. See photos, was hard to get a good photo of the female as she wouldn't stand still. Couldn't believe I'd seen Mandarin Ducks twice in one week (saw them down in Carysfort Park on the lake last week). | ||||||||||
