| Comments : | Scandinavian Herrings Gulls are not particularly rare in Wexford at this time of year, but I have never seen anything like the number of argentatus that was present at Rosslare today. The great majority were first-years, with only a handful of adults showing characters of argentatus, and a relatively small number of second-winter and sub-adults. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
