09:00 Ballard, Laragh. It was only there for 10-15 seconds sitting on an electricity wire no more than 15 yards away from my window. It was angled towards me and I got a very clear view of it through my small Vivitar 8X40WA binoculars. I thought immediately that it was a thrush but not like any other thrush I'd seen before. It appeared to be the same size as a blackbird, quite fluffed up and full breasted. Definite dark-grey throat and very pale white-grey speckled/striped breast. Not photographed.
