| Comments : | Little Bittern. While walking around Lake flushed from reeds at edge of lake at 10.40 B, S.T. Observed for only a few seconds before it flew into reeds oround the small pond on west side of Lake.Failed to find it again. Have no experience of species.The only thing that stood out was the prominent wing pattern.Checked the Collins Bird Guide and it matched that of adult bird could not say male of female .Would hope some one could check site out.
