Comments : 11:15. Western Black-eared Wheatear (Oenanthe hispanica)West Wall, Tip of Island. 4th Irish Record. 15:30 Relocated. Still present 200 to 300m East of first point of contact (KG). Searched for from 17:30 to dark but not seen again. (2nd County Record). Western Black-eared Wheatear (3 records) - Tuskar Rock Lighthouse, Wexford, 16th May 1916. - ⁠Cape Clear Island, Cork, 26th to 27th May 1992. - ⁠Great Saltee Island, Wexford, 15th to 16th May 2010. Eastern Black-eared Wheatear (2 records) - Great Saltee Island, Wexford, 7th to 10th May 1987. - ⁠South Slob, Wexford, 6th May 2023. Unidentified Black-eared Wheatear sp. (1 record) - Great Saltee Island, Wexford, 22nd May 1997.
