Yesterday I was at Ballincar where the two Sligo Glossy Ibis have been seen recently and saw one glossy ibis there. Today I went by and there were none to be seen but on driving back into Sligo town I saw the two glossy ibis at Cartron in the ponds on the landward side of the road running along the bay. The birds seemed unfazed by the traffic just a few metres away.
