| Comments : | Ruby-crowned Kinglet Regulus calendula. An unconfirmed report of a male Ruby-crowned Kinglet seen feeding in a private garden near the South Mall, Cork City. Thursday the 17th of July 2014, c. 19:00. The bird was seen for about 5 minutes down to 8ft in range around a garden pond. The lady who saw bird is familiar with Goldcrest which visit the garden. The Kinglet was not phoographed. If accepted, 2nd Irish record and 5th Western Palearctic. The owners of property wish to remain anonymous and do not want visitors to the garden. |
