| Comments : | Male Hen Harrier (Circus cyaneus) quartering over the flooded fields of Golden Plover (Pluvialis apricaria) circa 300, Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus) circa 500 & Black-headed Gulls (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) 100+ to the north of Portmore Lough, Co Antrim at 16:17 this evening. Mute Swan (Cygnus olor), Whooper Swans Cygnus cygnus) also evident with other common waterfowl. |
