4 birds showing characteristics of tristis - 1 confirmed through call. Birds present with several colybita. "Take main road leading onto fota island, then take your first left (the back- road to Carigtwohill), following the road as it bends to the right. Soon after, you will reach a crossroads - take the right here (signed civic amenity site). Drive down the hill and park on the left hand side - opposite entrance of cement factory. There are some boulders and a small gate with some quarry warning signs - follow the path through to pond. The birds are feeding in brambles and trees with colybita near the outflow."
