The immediate impression, based on the bill pattern, very dark greater coverts and uppertail coverts/ tail pattern is that it is the same bird, but just to be sure I compared the left upperwing pattern of today's bird with a photo I took of the bird on 5th January. It is easy to see small details that correspond exactly, leaving no doubt that today's sighting is of the same bird.
