| Comments : | Large numbers of 'Sterna' terns day roosting on The Patches with a flock of c650 birds present at one point. Continuous turnover of birds commuting to/from the sea via the sluice area so overall numbers likely to be much higher. Mostly Common Terns but plenty of Arctic and Roseate Terns present also. |
