Comments :

This morning, Stephen King and I had good looks at five Semipalmated Sandpipers at Tacumshin, four juveniles and one clearly new bird, an adult in transition to winter plumage. In the strong wind and harsh light it was quite a challenge to determine if any of the juveniles were new birds, but eventually it was established they corresponded to the four already documented birds of last week, albeit with one or two having changed slightly.
